MRB’sAION 2 BUDDY GLOBAL · SEASON 1

AION 2 game guides

Gear enhancement: what to upgrade first

Use the Enhancement menu to raise an item’s enhancement level. Budget both stones and Kina; do not treat a higher displayed item level as an automatic improvement.

  1. Open Enhancement and select the equipment. Inspect its grade, current level, required material and displayed success chance.
  2. Ordinary caps in the current reference: Common/Rare +5, Epic +10, Unique +15; belt and amulet +10. Amplify is a separate system.
  3. Prioritize a useful weapon, then offensive accessories. Upgrade armor when incoming damage prevents you from completing your next activity.
  4. Set a session spending limit. Reserve enough Kina for the next equipment replacement and required activities.
  5. For temporary gear, compare stopping at +10 against the time you expect to keep the item. Check the dismantle preview before assuming resources are recoverable.

Amplify: costs, fragments and preparation

Unique equipment can enter Amplify after reaching ordinary +15. Treat the five Amplify steps as a separate budget.

  1. Confirm your item is eligible in the Amplify tab.
  2. The researched five-step costs are 6/9/12/15/20 Amplify Stones and 600k/900k/1.4m/2m/3m Kina. Total before failures: 62 stones and 7.9m Kina.
  3. Substance Morph recipe: 4 Unique Amplify Stone Fragments plus 2,500 Enhancement Stones for one Unique Amplify Stone. Check the recipe in your current client.
  4. Compare buying a finished stone with the cost of fragments plus the enhancement stones you would otherwise spend.
  5. Plan one step at a time using the actual chance and cost shown in the game.

Potential: when PvP investment makes sense

Potential is a separate investment from ordinary enhancement and Soul Binding.

  1. Check that the Soul Bound Unique item is eligible.
  2. The researched Global Abyss Potential uses 100,000 AP per level and 1/2/3/4 stones across its levels.
  3. Check your Abyss acquisition and exchange screens for the current material sources.
  4. Measure the benefit in the mode you actually play before spending AP.

Gear Transfer and Transfer Crafting

Transfer can preserve valuable work when replacing equipment. The two transfer menus have different purposes.

  1. Use Gear Transfer when moving onto an existing replacement drop. Use Transfer Crafting when crafting the next eligible tier.
  2. Enhancement and Soul Binding are carried by the researched transfer paths; inspect the preview for the exact item pair and Amplify handling.
  3. Manastones, Theostones and Potential are not preserved by these researched transfers. Soul Fuse effects cannot be transferred.
  4. Photograph or note both items’ useful lines before confirming. Remove any valuable sockets if your current client offers an eligible extraction method.
  5. Confirm the resulting equipment, consumed source item, retained levels and total cost in the preview.

Soul Binding: Bind, Sync, Rebind and Soul Fuse

Soul Binding controls an item’s additional lines and skill bonuses. Choose the action according to what you want to preserve.

  1. Bind raises Binding Rate toward maximum values. Sync rerolls one selected line. Rebind replaces every line.
  2. Keep a useful existing line; use Sync instead of replacing all lines when one change would solve the problem.
  3. Soul Codex sources in the item reference include Expedition dungeons, Deus Research Base, Shattered Arkanis and the festival merchant. Check current availability.
  4. At 100% Binding Rate, Soul Fuse can add an extra line when its system and material are available.

Equipment perks and useful stat lines

Choose a roll that solves a concrete problem in your build, rather than collecting unrelated bonuses.

  1. Start with slot-specific lines: gloves can provide Combat Speed; boots Move Speed.
  2. Skill lines can help reach build specialization breakpoints. Check the class page’s combined skill-level worksheet before buying another level.
  3. Keep role requirements in view: tank survival, healer reliability and damage uptime can change the value of a roll.
  4. Change one item and repeat the same activity. Record missed attacks, interruptions, survival and time to finish.

Armor sets: choosing the next tier

Compare a set as a complete equipment plan: source, entry requirement, useful lines and replacement cost.

  1. The community Global route lists Draupnir/Bakarma equipment, then Vakron, then Ferocious Horn armor progression.
  2. Check the current Conquest rewards for the exact pieces your class needs before spending entry resources.
  3. Compare the new item with your equipped piece including Soul Binding and useful skill levels.
  4. Use the transfer preview to calculate the real replacement cost. Keep a working item until the replacement is ready.

Belt and amulet progression

These slots use their own scroll progression rather than the ordinary equipment material plan.

  1. Strongholds are listed as a source of Noble Belt Enhancement Scrolls.
  2. Monolith progression is listed for Revelation Amulet Enhancement Scrolls.
  3. Inspect the scroll and upgrade preview for your exact item.
  4. When upgrading rarity through Morph at +10, remove the item from equipment presets and check eligibility first.

Material finder: where to start farming

A compact source map for the materials used by the systems above. Reward panels and remaining weekly allowances decide the best available farm today.

  1. Choose the system you are upgrading, then use the material’s in-game acquisition button.
  2. Open the activity reward preview and distinguish guaranteed rewards, random drops, purchases and limited exchanges.
  3. Check remaining entry energy, attempts and exchange stock before planning a repeat farm.
  4. Compare the total cost per usable upgrade; include entry costs and unused byproducts.

Gathering and a repeatable farming route

Match your gathering branch to the recipe you want to make.

  1. Ore supports armor/weapons/guards; gems accessories; logs bows/staves; herbs alchemy and related crafts; ingredients cooking. Odyle is used across crafting and Morph.
  2. The branch’s Seeker unlock reveals eligible nodes on the minimap.
  3. Plan a compact loop around nodes your level can gather. Track resource yield and travel time over one full loop.
  4. Compare a second route using the same duration; keep the route with more of the material you need rather than the most total items.

Crafting: recipe, cost and failure risk

Calculate the complete recipe chain before investing in a crafted replacement.

  1. Open the recipe and expand intermediate ingredients. Count material grade, profession requirement and currency.
  2. The documented gear chain progresses through lower grades into a gold blank and then dungeon materials. Confirm each stage in your client.
  3. Compare the total material and attempt cost with buying a finished item.
  4. For an eligible upgrade, check Transfer Crafting before rebuilding enhancement and bindings.

Arcana: cards, sets and skill breakpoints

Arcana adds five equipment slots and can supply the skill levels that complete your build.

  1. The slots are Chalice, Parchment, Compass, Bell and Mirror.
  2. Vigor versions belong to Primal Vigor; Magic versions to Magic Armor. Compare their actual stats and set description.
  3. Compass and Parchment can roll active skills, Bell and Mirror passive skills; Chalice can roll either.
  4. Use your class page’s worksheet to add skill points, Daevanion, equipment and Arcana. Target a useful breakpoint rather than exceeding the level cap.
  5. Early on, compare equipped grade and useful lines before spending to force a complete set.

Daevanion: nodes, costs and connected routes

Use the class planner to distinguish a node’s own bonus from the total route needed to reach it.

  1. Open your class → Daevanion and select a board.
  2. Hover, keyboard-focus or click a node to see its name, effect and individual point cost.
  3. Gold nodes are the recommended allocation. Click a node to inspect a connected path; restore the complete build to see all recommended nodes.
  4. Use Find a node to search a skill or effect. Copy the tree to keep its coordinates and costs.
  5. Check available crystals and the board’s unlock level in the client before spending.

Skills and stigmas: building an available loadout

Build targets describe a completed loadout. Spend available points according to what you can actually unlock today.

  1. Choose PvE or a documented PvP preset on your class page.
  2. Read the selected skill target and specialization requirement; equip a pick only after reaching its threshold.
  3. Keep the four selected stigmas separate from ordinary active/passive skills.
  4. Review bonuses from boards, equipment and Arcana before allocating more points.
  5. Put recovery, movement and interrupts on keys you can use independently of your attack stack.

Hotbar and macro setup

The class pages separate hotbar priority, the actual in-game macro and manual combat inputs.

  1. Pick your class and open Hotbar & rotation.
  2. Place each hotbar line in its shown order and match its displayed key.
  3. Enter the macro steps in their shown sequence and delay; do not replace a hotbar line with a single skill.
  4. Practice the manual holds and opener separately. For Ranger, the attack, macro and separate Deadshot inputs operate together.
  5. Use Copy on the section to share the exact selected preset; alternative Cleric and Chanter presets have their own sequences.

Leveling and the first endgame plan

Use progression as a sequence of unlocked systems, rather than buying an endgame setup before you can use it.

  1. Follow the story and its required unlocks; equip the class weapon.
  2. Use the class page’s checklist to track skill specialization, boards and group preparation.
  3. At each new activity, verify its current entry requirement and reward preview.
  4. Upgrade only the bottleneck: damage when fights take too long, defense when you cannot survive, or a missing system unlock.
  5. At endgame, choose one next activity and list the exact missing requirements before spending.

Conquest dungeon tiers and gearing

Choose an accessible dungeon that can supply your next replacement, then learn it before increasing farming commitments.

  1. Community Global entry references: Krao/Draupnir 700, Urugugu/Vakron 1,400, Fire Temple/Ferocious Horn 2,100. Confirm the live panel before entry.
  2. Compare the reward list with your missing slot and useful lines.
  3. Check entry energy and reward eligibility before forming the group.
  4. Assign tank control, recovery and interrupts. Learn one mechanic at a time and keep an escape route.
  5. After a run, compare reward value and completion reliability with your other available activities.

Daily and weekly priorities

Spend limited attempts on activities that move your current plan forward.

  1. Write down one next equipment or skill goal.
  2. Inspect today’s available activities, remaining energy, attempts and expiring rewards.
  3. Do limited sources for the blocking material before repeatable gathering.
  4. Reserve time for a reliable group activity; clear inventory and inspect rewards afterward.

Manastones and Theostones

Plan sockets after choosing equipment you intend to keep.

  1. Inspect the selected socket and eligible stone in your client.
  2. Compare its effect with your current build’s missing stats.
  3. Read insertion, replacement and extraction costs before confirming.
  4. Before transfer, account for sockets that will not carry over.

Combat stats: find your real bottleneck

A useful stat increases damage you can actually deliver or prevents a failed encounter.

  1. Repeat the same fight and record misses, defended attacks, interruptions and deaths.
  2. If attacks fail to connect, investigate accuracy-related requirements before buying more raw damage.
  3. If movement or casts are interrupted, improve positioning and survivability before judging a build’s output.
  4. Compare one change at a time and include the skill bonuses you lose on a replacement.

Abyss and PvP preparation

Prepare a separate PvP plan and check the current Abyss activity rules.

  1. Open the Abyss panel and read entry, remaining time and current objectives.
  2. Check AP exchange costs and choose the reward before farming.
  3. Equip a documented PvP preset where available; keep control and escapes accessible.
  4. Coordinate a group objective and decide when to disengage.

Collections, exploration and permanent rewards

Use permanent progression systems alongside equipment farming.

  1. Inspect Journal → Regional rewards and map the missing objectives.
  2. Compare reward descriptions before consuming an item for a collection.
  3. Track exploration objectives on a compact route instead of repeatedly crossing the zone.
  4. Inspect titles, wings and other owned effects separately from equipped effects.

Events, Twitch Drops and claim deadlines

Use official notices to check eligibility, campaign windows and claim rules.

  1. Open the current official notice and read the region and account requirements.
  2. For Drops, verify the linked account and eligible campaign in Twitch.
  3. Distinguish earning time from the final claim deadline.
  4. After claiming, verify delivery in the stated game destination.

Buying gear and comparing crafting costs

Compare the finished upgrade cost rather than the cheapest single component.

  1. Check item grade, binding state and useful rolled lines.
  2. Add recipe inputs, fees, enhancement, transfer and any socket replacement costs.
  3. Compare against a ready item with the actual properties your loadout needs.
  4. Set a maximum purchase price before browsing alternatives.

Party readiness and encounter practice

A stable party converts entry resources into useful rewards.

  1. Confirm activity eligibility and the role each player will perform.
  2. Agree on interrupts, recovery and positioning before pulling.
  3. Watch the boss cast and telegraph rather than hiding them under a damage rotation.
  4. After a failed attempt, identify one mechanic and adjust the group plan before spending another entry.

Upgrade budget and success-chance worksheet

Calculate a fixed-chance spending scenario using numbers you read from the current game.

  1. Enter the displayed chance and your planned number of attempts below.
  2. Chance of at least one success at a constant independent rate is 1 − (1 − p)^n.
  3. Multiply planned attempts by the per-attempt material and Kina cost to set a maximum spend.
  4. Stop and recalculate if the chance, cost or failure correction changes.

Wisdom Stones: where to find skill points

Wisdom Stone (Bound) grants one skill point. Its acquisition reference lists quests, faction dungeons and festival exchanges.

  1. For the Light faction, Searching for an Escaped Fossa and The Future of Odyle Collection in Verteron are listed with one Wisdom Stone each. The reference gives unlock level 10 and recommended level 16.
  2. Poacher’s Den and Spirit Flower Cave list two Wisdom Stones as faction dungeon rewards. Check your current reward panel and whether the reward is one-time.
  3. The festival merchant reference lists 50 Centuryroot Tokens per stone and a character purchase limit of 15. Check the available event and stock.
  4. For the Dark faction, use the item acquisition menu to locate your faction’s equivalent sources; these Light examples are not a cross-faction route.

Daevanion Crystals: getting the next node

A standard Daevanion Crystal grants one Daevanion Point; Azphel uses its separately named crystal.

  1. Check the exact crystal type and board before planning a farm.
  2. The Light-faction reference lists Searching for an Escaped Fossa and The Future of Odyle Collection in Verteron with a standard crystal reward.
  3. Find additional eligible sources through the crystal’s acquisition menu and compare them with unfinished exploration objectives.
  4. Use the class planner to add the preceding nodes’ point costs before deciding how many crystals you still need.
